Knowsley’s Flower Show is on Sunday August 5 and is the biggest free show of its kind in the North West.
It’s at Court Hey Park in Roby Road in Huyton and details of the classes and prizes are now available.
The show runs from 11am until 5pm and celebrates both the Olympics and the Queens Diamond Jubilee
People hoping to enter their prize blooms, preserves or vegetables can now get a schedule detailing classes, prize money and the rules.

These include the longest Olympic Runner Bean, the best hand crafted crown or tiara and the best computer generated picture of a Royal or Olympic Garden.
The show will be opened by Knowsley’s new Mayor Cllr Norman Hogg and the head gardener at Tatton Park, Sam Youd, who’s also a judge and a panellist on Gardeners' Question Time at the show.
