It’ll be held at Huyton Gallery from October 22 to January 13 and it’s open to artists of all abilities, whether their speciality is photography, oil painting or another 2D visual art
The deadline for applications is Friday September 28. You can find out more by calling 0151 443 5617.

This year, there’ll also be a Young Artists’ Open Exhibition in a designated area of the gallery for people aged 11 to 17.
Visitors can vote for their favourite piece of art in both the adult and young artists sections.
Prizes for the best entries will be vouchers for the Rennies art shop in Liverpool, up to the value of £100 for adults and £30 for the young artists.
- Kirkby Gallery hosts a major exhibition of the work of the famous illustrator Quentin Blake next month.
It’s one of only four venues in Britain to host the Larger than Life show and it’ll include some of the huge art works Blake created for museums and hospitals.
