Knowsley Safari to host evening of Halloween horrors for the whole family.
This
Halloween, visitors with nerves of steel are set to face their fears, with a
fright night full of animal antics at Knowsley Safari.
Families are invited to go face to face with creepy crawlies in the Wild at Art Centre, walk on the dark side with 100 Egyptian fruit bats, and witness the daring Flight of the Talons by the Reserve’s birds of prey.
The family fright-fest will include a visit to the newly opened Bat Forest, where only the most daring will take on the challenge to visit the walkthrough and embark on a nocturnal adventure. All before meeting some of the most terrifying predators to take to the skies – Knowsley’s resident owls and vultures.
Once families have worked up an appetite, little ghosts and ghouls will be provided with a special Halloween feast of hot dogs.
Eveline De Wolf, Animal Manager at Knowsley Safari comments: “Anything could happen at Knowsley Safari this Halloween – but our keepers will be on hand if things get a bit too spooky!
“Most importantly it provides an opportunity for the whole family to have fun together and learn from our experts about the care and protection of all the animals, and the truth behind some of the mythologies.”
The evening of family fun takes place on Saturday 27th October, commencing at 7:00pm and finishing at 9:00pm
