A fitness fundraiser at Knowsley’s leisure centres brought in more than £1,500 for Children in Need.
Organisers ran back to back spinning classes at Knowsley Leisure and Culture Park and Bokwa sessions – a mix of aerobics and African dance - in Kirkby leisure centre. Halewood leisure centre hosted a week- long rowing challenge.
Everyone who took part in the activities was asked to make a donation to Children in Need. The annual TV appeal raises millions of pounds for children’s charities in Britain and across the world.
Knowsley’s leisure centres are currently running a 12 Days of Fitness promotion for people who want to get fit for the party season.The offer allows people to try out all the facilities and classes at the centres for 12 days for just £12.
