You can get fit and do good at a series of fun activities in Knowsley to raise money for Children in Need.
It’s all happening on Friday November 16 at leisure centres across the borough.
At Kirkby you can test out your stamina in a Bokwa-thon – three back to back sessions of the new fitness craze that mixes aerobics with African dance.
That runs from 5pm to 8pm at the centre in Cherryfield Drive in Kirkby.
At Knowsley Leisure and Culture Park in Longview Road, Huyton, there’s a Spinathon – ten back to back spinning classes to be held in the atrium from 9am to 7pm.
Halewood leisure centre in Baileys Lane is hosting a week- long rowing challenge from Monday November 12 to Friday November 16.
There will be a rowing machine for people to use and those who’d like to book a slot should contact the centre’s reception.
Everyone who takes part will be asked to make a donation to the Children in Need TV appeal which raises millions of pounds for children’s chariies across the world each year.
For those who’d like to do more regular exercise, from November 15 there’s a 12 Days of Fitness offer where they can try out all the facilities and classes at Knowsley’s leisure centres for 12 days for just £12.
