A primary school in Knowsley went cup cake crazy for Halloween.
The winning entry came from prize baker in the making Libby Finn, aged 9, with her witches hat cakes.
The runners up were Niambh Wilson, aged 10 and Nancy Hodgson, aged 9.
School catering supervisor, Charlotte Baker, said she’d make every pupil a version of the cake for Halloween.
Charlotte made the cakes in her own time and is a cup cake fan herself.
“This was a great way to get the children thinking about both design and making food,” said Charlie Newstead, head teacher at St Joseph’s.
“Libby’s winning cup cake looked great and tasted great too but all the other entries were amazing too.
