There was plenty of festive cheer at a Christmas party for disabled children and their families in Knowsley.
More than 400 children and their families turned out for the event at the Huyton Suite.
It was arranged by the SPEAK family support group that gives help and advice to families with disabled children.
The group is funded by Knowsley’s Short Breaks programme and some “elves” from the authority turned up to help out.
Father Christmas was also there with lots of presents.
Parent Michelle Scales said: “We really look forward to this party.
“Sometimes it’s difficult to find places to go with our children and SPEAK really understands this.
“It’s been so nice seeing the children all together having a good time’
