Residents in Whiston have knitted hats and scarves to help keep homeless people warm during the cold winter months.
The knitters from South Avenue Sheltered Scheme, run by Knowsley Housing Trust, part of the First Ark Group, have donated their woollen creations to the Sisters of Missionaries in Liverpool who will give them to the homeless people they support..
