There’s a traditionally festive feel to December’s Prescot Producers’ Market this Saturday, 7 December from 9am – 2pm.
With music provided by the local Salvation Army Brass Band and the Maghull Parish Handbell Ringers, there can be no better atmosphere for Christmas shopping!
As well as the seasonal music, there will be street entertainment and free mulled wine and roasted chestnuts for shoppers.
All the usual stalls will line Eccleston Street, but this time with an especially festive look, plus lots of tempting locally produced food, drink and gift ideas to make Christmas extra special.
Shoppers can also take advantage of free parking for this event – and in all council owned car parks in Knowsley’s town centres every Saturday in December.
The Producers’ Market is a great way to support local independent traders. This month it falls on the same day as Small Business Saturday, which encourages shoppers to make at least one purchase from a small independent retailer on the day.
The market takes a break in January, but will return on Saturday February 1 and every first Saturday of the month throughout 2014.
If you are a local business and want to get involved with the market you can call 0151 443 2298 for more information. Knowsley-based businesses or residents may be eligible for free stall space.
