Knowsley Velodrome and BMX Park is the place to be to catch all the latest cycling action and take part in a range of events!
On Sunday 30 March, Knowsley’s BMX track will be hosting the North Region BMX championships. North Region BMX work in partnership with British Cycling and the 12 BMX clubs in the North of England, which culminates in the championships. Over 250 riders are expected to take part in this year’s event, with riders competing from the age of 6 years and over.
Knowsley Velodrome and BMX Park will also be hosting its first national competition on Sunday 18 May. Around 100 riders from across the country will be competing in the National Track Omnium. Six track races will take place on the velodrome track, including three time trials and three mass-start events.
British Cycling members can take part in this national competition – further details including how to enter can be found at www.britishcycling.com
Races will commence at 10am and it’s free of charge to come along and support this fantastic event.
