Knowsley taxi drivers raised over £2,000 to remember a girl from Huyton this Christmas.
Laura Schutt, 17, died earlier this year from Cystic Fibrosis. Cabbies from across the borough joined together in a mammoth fundraising effort for Alder Hey Children's Hospital in her memory.
The money will be used on Ward B3 where Laura was cared for, and will help to buy essentials, as well as new toys and games.
On Christmas Eve, a convoy of taxi drivers set off from the Queens Arms pub, where staff had helped Laura's family and friends to raise funds, to deliver the cheque to Alder Hey (pictured).
