After a reign of 50 years, the 20th century's greatest musical comedy has certainly been given the treatment it deserves by Trevor Nunn and the National Theatre. The production breathes new life into the familiar tale of Professor Higgins and his attempts to turn Cockney flower girl Eliza Doolittle into a "lady".
