Workmates across the region are being reminded to swing into action and reserve their place in the highly anticipated 10th annual Knowsley Mayor’s Charity Golf Tournament.
This year the tournament takes place on Thursday, 10th May 2007 at Blundells Hill Golf Club in Rainhill boasting an excellent course in a friendly environment.
Due to the high demand for places in the tournament companies are advised to apply early for team entry, and to note the closing date for entries is April 13.
Participating teams should be to a maximum of four people with an entry fee of £150, entitling them to 18 holes of golf under tournament conditions, with insurance cover and a three course meal.
Corporate associations can pledge £260 for the sponsor of a tee box with added publicity for their company. Combined packages are on offer to cover sponsorship and team entry at £410.
All proceedings from the forthcoming tournament are to be donated to the children’s unit at Whiston hospital for the purchase of life saving equipment.
Prizes will be presented to the winning teams by the Mayor of Knowsley who is highly supportive of the valued charity event, organised by the Knowsley Council’s events service, offering regional companies an unforgettable day to benefit their local community whilst extending their business networks.
