Start4Life roadshow visits Knowsley to help give youngsters a healthier start in life

Start4Life’s free interactive roadshow visited The Star Centre, Kirkby, this week, where local parents could get help and advice on how to make healthier choices for their young ones.

With childhood wellness being a top priority for Knowsley Health and Wellbeing, the event aimed to provide information and helpful tips about giving children the best start in life and maintain a healthy weight in childhood and beyond.

The event, the only one of its kind in Merseyside, gave healthy cookery tips and nutrition advice to parents, as well as ideas on how to keep children active through play, and information and advice on breastfeeding.

Start4Life is part of the nationwide Change4Life movement which helps families ‘eat well, move more and live longer’.
