Thousands of people turned out for the first Panto to be held at Knowsley Leisure and Culture Park.
The centre in Longview Drive in Huyton can host everything from films and theatre to concerts and fayres.
After a ground breaking year, staging children’s shows, comedy gigs and Shakespeare, the Panto attracted some of the biggest crowds yet.
Former Big Brother star Grace Adams Short was Aladdin in the show that had everything from flying carpets to fireworks.
Laura Handley from TV soap Hollyoaks was The Enchantress, Gary Doyle was the villain Abanazar and local girl Lauren Boote was Princess Jasmine.
The crowd’s favourite was local lad Tom Hogan who played Widow Twankey with a quick fire patter of jokes and innuendoes.
The Knowsley dance troupe Street Feet kept the pace up with songs and dances throughout.
There were plenty of boos and cheers and “look behind you” and at just £6 and £7 a ticket it was one of the best value Pantos in the area.
