JUST LION AROUND:
Two young ducklings found themselves in hot water with Knowsley Safari's resident Kings of the Jungle this week, after 'Mother Duck' unknowingly settled them into the lion enclosure, before waddling away.
Knowsley's quack-thinking keepers, spotted the danger and managed to keep the big cats distracted long enough to rescue the ducklings. The fortunate fowl, nicknamed Ant and Dec after the TV double act, have been exploring safer grounds at the park, while they wait for mum to be located and returned to them.
